From Page to Stage!, Pre-K, $130

 Begins The Week of September 25 (5 Weeks)

Every week a new story comes to life through creative drama, movement activities, and arts and crafts. Students will engage in an interactive exploration of beginning theatre, classic and current children’s literature, and nursery rhymes.  The final day of class will feature a "Shareformance".

Theatre in a Trunk, Kindergarten - 1st Grade, $260
Begins The Week of September 18 (8 Weeks)

A new adventure begins each week as actors discover treasures in a trunk and bring characters to life through creative drama and movement. Class features an interactive exploration of beginning theatre, classic and current children’s literature. The final day of class will feature a "Shareformance".

Level I: $175
2nd-5th Grade, Tuesday 4:30-5:30pm

This acting class is great for everyone!  Students will study the techniques of theatre while building foundational acting skills and theatre vocabulary.  Students will explore theatre through games, monologues, scene work, character building, and improvisation. The final day of class will feature a "Shareformance".

Level II: Prerequisite, Level I class & teacher placement, $260

2nd-5th Grade, Wednesday 4-5:30pm
6th-12th Grade, Thursday 6-7:30pm

This acting class is great for more experienced students.  In some cases, based on previous experience and at the teachers discretion students may be placed in the Level II class without having taken Level I.  We will explore theatre by reviewing foundational acting skills and theatre vocabulary.  Students will explore theatre through games, monologues, scene work, character building, directing, and improvisation. The final day of class will feature a "Shareformance".

Design and Production, 6th- 12th Grade, $300
Begins The Week of September 18 (8 Weeks)

Experience and learn the process of creating a show from concept to reality. Try your hand at designing costumes, sets, and create and manage lighting and sound for WTP’s Spring Productions. Students will develop renderings as well as learn basic model building techniques. Those with no experience are welcome, the only prerequisite for this class is a creative mind. Cost includes materials fee.

Musical Theatre Dance Class, Elementary/Middle/ High School, $260                                                        Begins The Week of September 18 (8 Weeks - No Class October 9)

Have you ever wondered how those big production numbers pop?  In this fun and fast paced dance class, WTP will focus on the dance moves that make audiences beg for more. This class is great for first timers with no previous dance experience and seasoned stars ready to practice their craft.

Musical Theatre2nd-8th Grade, Saturday 10am-12pm, $225
Session I: September 16 - October 14, (4 Weeks - No Class October 7)
Session II: October 21 - November 18, (4 Weeks- No Class November 11)

"Sing Out, Louise!" Learn solo and ensemble numbers from some hit Broadway shows of the past and present! Students will work on becoming true theatrical "triple threats" during this intensive. Singing, Dancing, and Acting their way through some of Musical Theatre's most beloved songs.  Includes one on one and group coaching with Musical Director. The final day of class will feature a "Shareformance".

Theatre Games/Improv, 4th-8th Grade, Saturday 12pm-2pm, $195
September 16 - October 14, (4 Weeks - No Class October 7)

Students will create characters and scenes through games and exercises that build confidence, self- reliance, concentration and teamwork. The final day of class will feature a "Shareformance".

Stage Combat, 6th-12th Grade, Saturday 12pm-2pm, $195

Experienced students take a performance on the road! Highlights include parades, festivals, plays and musical theatre.*** 

Please prepare 32 Bars of a Musical Theatre Number and bring the sheet music (we will provide an accompanist). 

Wear comfortable clothes and dance shoes or tennis shoes for the dance audition.

Students will explore their creativity and expand their acting, singing, and dancing skills.  From audition preparation to Opening Night, all students will learn what it takes to produce a stage show.  

Production Class: Madagascar: A Musical Adventure, Jr., 2nd-12th Grade, $630

Rehearsals begin the week of September 19

Rehearsal Days - Choose One:
Wednesday/Friday, 4-6pm and some Saturdays 1-4pm
Tuesday/Thursday, 4-6pm and some Saturdays 1-4pm.

Production Class: A Christmas Carol, 2nd-12th Grade$395

Rehearsals: November/ December

After auditions students will receive a rehearsal schedule. While students may not be required to attend every rehearsal, attendance during Tech Week is mandatory. 

 This adaption of Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol is the story of a bitter old miser named Ebenezer Scrooge and his transformation into a gentler, kinder man after visitations by various ghosts. Join us for this uplifting holiday story of redemption, magic, and hope.This is an audition based production will feature a limited number of students.
