WTP Policies

Tuition:

​​

Fall: Full Payment is due at time of registration, and is required to reserve a place in the class. If paying by check please click "Pay Later" and submit payment within one week to secure enrollment by dropping in the WTP Drop Box out front
 

Full refund minus $75 fee will be returned prior to September 1st. After September 1st no refunds will be provided.

If a scholarship application is included with registration, no payment is required until after scholarship notifications.

Winter & Spring: Full payment is due at time of registration, and is required to reserve a place in the class. If paying by check please click "Pay Later" and submit payment within one week to secure enrollment by dropping in the WTP Drop Box out front

Summer: â€‹50% Deposit is due at registration. Full payment is due by March 15th. If paying by check please click "Pay Later" and submit payment within one week to secure enrollment by dropping in the WTP Drop Box out front

 

Full refund minus $75 fee will be returned prior to March 15th. After March 15th no refunds will be provided.

If a scholarship application is included with registration, no payment is required until after scholarship notifications.

 

Paying By Check: If paying by check please click "Pay Later" and submit payment within one week to secure enrollment by dropping in the WTP Drop Box out front. 

 

Payment Plans: Families are welcome to pay their tuition in smaller increments at no extra penalty fees. Interested candidates simply must email info@wellesleytheatreproject.org. All payment plans must be paid off entirely by the last day of class or camp, without exception. Should more money be owed and the student drops out, parents are still responsible for any outstanding balance.​

Prorated Fees:  While we encourage students to sign up on time, there is no prorating of tuition due to the fact that we need to set our schedules and expenses earlier in the year.

 

Returned Checks or Payments: If your check or payment is returned by our processor, you will be charged $35 to reprocess the payment. 

 

Transaction Receipts:  When registering online, you will receive a credit card transaction receipt for your purchase confirming your payment and enrollment. Registrations are accepted in the order received. A course confirmation will be sent by email approximately one week before the class begins. If there are conflicts, we will contact you directly. 

 

Refunds and Credits:  

No refunds are given for missed classes either due to student absence, snow days, holidays or any other school closures.

 

Insufficient Enrollment: WTP will make a full tuition refund for any class canceled due to insufficient enrollment. WTP has a minimum enrollment to run classes and cover our costs. 

 

Student Absences: No refunds or credits will be made for student absences.

 

Faculty Absences: All efforts will be made to find a substitute in the case of a faculty absence. In the event that a class must be canceled, students will be notified of the make-up date by email, sent to the address provided during registration. 

 

Weather Cancellations:  In the event of a snow day, WTP reserves the right to cancel classes for teacher and student safety. If your class is canceled, we will notify you of the makeup date as soon as possible. We cannot offer separate makeup dates for individual schedule conflicts. We do not provide refunds for weather-related date changes.

Credit Card Fees: When you resister, you will charged a credit card fee for all credit card transactions. If you would prefer to pay by check, please select "Pay Later- (allows you to Pay By Check - Please remit check to WTP minus the processing fees above within one week of registration to hold your spot)  Credit card fees are not refunded. If you have questions please email info@wellesleytheatreproject.org for clarification.

Sibling Discount: Enrolling more than one child? Enroll a sibling and receive 20% off the siblings' tuition for a weekly class or one-week summer camp or $100 off the sibling(s) production class or camp tuition.

We are proud to participate in Mass Cultural Council's Card to Culture program in collaboration with the Department of Transitional Assistance, the Department of Public Health's WIC Nutrition Program, the Massachusetts Health Connector, and hundreds of organizations by making cultural programming accessible to those for whom cost is a participation barrier.
