Highlights include:

Understanding the college audition process and navigating college performing arts programs.

Creating a “Plan Worksheet” (type of school?, location?, BFA vs. BA vs. conservatory?, etc.).

Understanding audition requirements and deadlines.

Understanding the prescreen process (for schools that require).
-
Filming prescreens and reels at WTP.
-
Selecting appropriate material and that is contrasting in style (song and monologue).

Navigating the dance component (if applicable).
-
Establishing appropriate cuts of material to fit time/specifics the school is asking for.

Evaluate/build repertoire book (in case asked for other options).

Coach song and monologue.
-
Create and format resume.
-
Evaluate headshot.

Understanding how to electronically submit supplemental material to application (performing arts material).

Opportunities to connect with Program Directors and arrange visits to campuses (possibly sit in on a class).

Understanding the career path upon completion of the degree/program.

Available to connect with parents/families to answer questions and help guide along the way.
