FOR STUDENTS IN 7TH-12TH GRADE

Rehearses Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30PM

Travels to Junior Theatre Festival in Atlanta, GA
January 14th-18th 2027
For auditions, students will sing 16-32 bars of a musical theatre song of their choice, and perform a monologue supplied by WTP.
Students in this program will not perform a full show. They will learn 15 minutes of an MTI JR show for adjudication at Junior Theatre Festival, as well as performing in the Wellesley community throughout the season.
Tuition: $650
JTF Trip Coast Estimate: approx. $1,750 per person attending.
IGNITE! COMPANY
FOR STUDENTS IN 3RD-7TH GRADE
in the 2026-2027 School Year
Rehearses Fridays from 4:00-6:00PM
Beginning September 2026 through February 8, 2027
Travels to Junior Theatre Festival West in Sacramento, CA
February 4th-8th 2027
For auditions, students will sing a musical theatre song selection and a a monologue supplied by WTP.
Students in this program will not perform a full show. They will learn 15 minutes of an MTI JR or KIDS show for adjudication at Junior Theatre Festival, as well as performing in the Wellesley community throughout the season.
Tuition: $650
JTF Trip Coast Estimate: approx. $1,750 per person attending.
Once a student is accepted into IGNITE! or IMPACT!, the spot is theirs to hold onto until they graduate high school. Each Spring, we will ask students to confirm if they will hold their spot or withdraw. Then, based on numbers, we may or may not hold auditions for new members. Students who choose to withdraw would have to re-audition to rejoin the group.
A student can lose their spot. Throughout the year, we expect members to be ambassadors and leaders within our organization and our community in accordance with the Code of Conduct. If a student's behavior, focus, attendance, etc. trend beyond what is acceptable, a conference will be scheduled with the student and their adults as a warning. If they continue to trend out of alignment with the code of conduct, they will be removed from the group at the end of that year. They will be welcome to re-audition in the future, if auditions are made available.

Singing Audition: Please prepare 16-32 bars of a musical theatre song of your choice, and bring sheet music that is clearly labeled with the start and end of your cut. Accompanist provided.
Acting Audition: Please prepare one full memorized monologue from the selections provided. You can find them by clicking here.

IGNITE!
Singing Audition: Please prepare ONE of four song selections, and one of two monologues. You will sing with the provided accompaniment track. Please be fully memorized. You can find the song songs and materials by clicking here.
Acting Audition: Please prepare ONE of the two monologues provided from A Year With Frog And Toad KIDS. Monologue should be fully memories. You can find them by clicking here.

Incoming 7th Graders can choose to audition for IMPACT! or IGNITE! They can audition for both groups, but if doing so, must prepare the IMPACT! audition pieces and provide both conflict forms at auditions.
