A NOTE FROM WTP
Virtual Summer Camp
Dear WTP Family,
WTP has been closely monitoring developments around COVID-19, including the most recent details of Governor Baker's reopening plan. After carefully reviewing these state guidelines, we have made the difficult decision to move our summer programming to a virtual format. Our priority is to ensure the safety of our students, staff, patrons, and families and the best way to do that now is virtually.
We do have some truly exciting plans for you and we can’t wait to share them!
We will be offering several Master Classes with Broadway professionals including Q&A’s, Vocal Workshops, Dance Workshops and more! Many will include the opportunity to perform for these professionals and get feedback. Professionals will include Michael James Scott (Aladdin on Broadway), Jessica Rush (Dear Evan Hansen), and more!" As well as in depth workshops with the amazing team from iTheatrics (Creators of the Junior Theatre Festival)!
We are excited to offer weekly Dance Workshops rotating weekly with our wonderful WTP Choreographers including Ms. Luciana, Ms. Hannah, and Ms. Julia teaching choreography to Six, Matilda, and more!
We are very happy to announce we will continue Private Voice Lessons with Mr. Eric and Mr. James!
We have some incredible One Week Camps that will be taught by Ms. Lydia including Discover Disney!, Head to Hogwarts, Heroes and Villains, and Fractured Fairy Tales!
We are converting our Production Camps to "Zoomsical" Selections from Annie, Newsies, and Footloose! This will allow us to make sure every student has their time to shine on the virtual stage as we work on songs, scenes, and dances from these iconic shows. Each of these camps will end in a virtual “Zoomsical" of what the students have learned.
We are also ecstatic to add two Small Cast Audition Only plays to our Summer! The first being Neil Simon’s Rumors for students 9th-12th grade and C.S. Lewis’s The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe for students in 6th-12th grade. These plays will both end in a live digital performance!

We have carefully considered each of the opportunities we are offering but, we do understand that this virtual format may not work for all families. If you are currently enrolled please click here to let us know if you would like to continue with your Summer Camp or un-enroll.
On behalf of all of us at WTP including the Board of Directors, and staff we cannot overstate the gratitude we have for your support through this time.
That said, we cannot overstate how challenging this is for us as a nonprofit. We ask that you consider applying your tuition to a future WTP Program or converting part of your tuition into a tax deductible donation.
We do hope to see you this summer Virtually and of course in person as soon as we can!
Thank you so much,
The Wellesley Theatre Project Team
